The historic Barre Municipal Auditorium has long been a community hub in the city of Barre. Designed by Ruth Freeman, the first female architect in the state of Vermont, it opened its doors in 1939. It has played a variety of roles since then, hosting trade and farm shows, town fairs, concerts, municipal voting polls and state basketball championships. Lately, though, it has been somewhat of a second classroom for ҹɫСÊÓƵ architecture, engineering, and construction management students.

The ҹɫСÊÓƵ Corps of Cadets and Civilian Community will honor the memory of SGT David Solinas, Jr., during a special Echo Taps service on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 10: 00 p.m. (EST).

The Second Annual Northfield Community Clean Up took place this past weekend. ҹɫСÊÓƵ’s AFROTC Cadets, in partnership with the American Legion Post 1819 and NU AFROTC Det 867, cleaned in and around the Northfield Town Center.

ҹɫСÊÓƵ was represented by a special delegation at the 3rd Annual International Forum for Peace, Security & Prosperity in Sicily, Italy. The delegation consisted of three members of ҹɫСÊÓƵ’s Corps of Cadets and Dr. Travis Morris, Associate Professor, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

ҹɫСÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that Kimberly Reilly will join the senior administration as our new Vice President of Enrollment Management. She is scheduled to begin work on May 22, 2023, and will report to Danielle Pelczarski, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff.

The ҹɫСÊÓƵ Center for Leadership announced today that it will hold its inaugural leadership conference. The conference, scheduled to take place April 10-11, 2023, will be held on the ҹɫСÊÓƵ campus in Northfield, Vt. .

It was just another typical spring for Brent White '05 when his life suddenly took an unexpected turn. As White and a group of friends began to train for the 2022 Josh Billings RunAground Triathlon, one of his teammates had a great idea that would be serve as the portal to a new chapter in White’s life.

ҹɫСÊÓƵ would like to congratulate the NU Bataan competition team on their recent win at this year’s Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon. NU sent two teams to compete in the full marathon (26.2 miles), which took place on March 19, 2023, at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

ҹɫСÊÓƵ announced today that it will host its second annual Amazon Web Services (AWS) Business Case Competition. The event, which is presented by the ҹɫСÊÓƵ School of Business, will take place on March 30, 2023, where teams of ҹɫСÊÓƵ students will compete and present their work to a panel of judges featuring representatives from AWS

ҹɫСÊÓƵ announced today that it will host its inaugural Medal of Honor Day on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The day will consist of a series of curated events that pay homage to the ҹɫСÊÓƵ alumni who have gone on to receive the coveted U.S. Medal of Honor award.
