ҹɫСÊÓƵ Re-Introduces Degree Program as Cybersecurity and Advanced Technology

ҹɫСÊÓƵ is proud to announce a significant update to its renowned degree program in the Leahy School of Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing. The University has rebranded its Computer Security and Information Assurance (CSIA) degree to Cybersecurity and Advanced Technology (CSAT) to better reflect the evolving landscape of modern technology and to align with current industry standards.

On November 16, 2024, the ҹɫСÊÓƵ AI Center, in collaboration with ҹɫСÊÓƵ Applied Research Institutes (NUARI), hosted a unique one-day event focused on "AI and Humanitarian Disaster Response" for high school students and new ҹɫСÊÓƵ students hoping to learn about AI, all inspired by a challenge from Vermont Senator Peter Welch.

On Saturday, November 16th, the AI Center alongside the ҹɫСÊÓƵ Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) was privileged to host Vermont Senator Peter Welch for a hands on exercise in using AI to respond to humanitarian disasters.

This summer, ҹɫСÊÓƵ hosted high school and college students, educators, and military leaders for multiple enriching events focused on expanding their cyber knowledge to new levels.

Summer of Cyber: Information Warfare Exercise

ҹɫСÊÓƵ recently hosted an Information Warfare Exercise (IWE) for ҹɫСÊÓƵ, Virginia Military Institute (VMI), The Citadel, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and the University of North Georgia (UNG) Information Warfare interns and faculty and Division staff from the Army's 10th Mountain Division.
