Class of 1983 graduate LtGen John J. Broadmeadow, who has held the role for the past year, is officially inaugurated as University president.

Dr. Karen Gaines, ҹɫС��Ƶ Provost and Dean of the Faculty, announces the selection of Dr. Marvin Lutnesky as the new Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.

ҹɫС��Ƶ proudly announces Dr. Page Spiess as the new Associate Dean of Online Learning in the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies. Dr. Spiess, a dynamic leader with a remarkable career, brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to this pivotal role.

Through a competitive selection process, ҹɫС��Ƶ’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) has appointed Bill Lyons to oversee and facilitate cybersecurity, diplomacy, and strategic studies programs and Dr. Robin Saunders as the Cybersecurity and Information Systems Academic Director.

LTC Brian J. Doyle, USA (Ret.) ’94 will be the next Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR).

Lenihan to serve a four-year term as one of seven members on the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts with this appointment from President Biden on May 10, 2024.

Alan DeForest ’75, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ҹɫС��Ƶ, proudly announces the unanimous decision to elect Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired), as the University’s 25th president on April 19, 2024. LtGen Broadmeadow will officially transition from his Board of Trustees position to the presidential office on May 1, 2024, which will mark the first time in more than three decades that a ҹɫС��Ƶ alumnus will lead the school as its president.

On April 19, ҹɫС��Ƶ will recognize the senior cadet class for their service and contributions to our university and beyond and promote the new cadet chain of command for the 2024-2025 academic year. We invite ҹɫС��Ƶ and local communities to attend either in-person or virtually.

ҹɫС��Ƶ is pleased to announce David Brigham, NU Class of ‘88 and Jeffrey Harrington, NU Class of ’87, as the new Co-Directors of the ҹɫС��Ƶ Center for Leadership.

ҹɫС��Ƶ welcomes Russian photojournalist Dmitri Belyakov, recipient of the Overseas Press Club of America award, who as a photojournalist has covered numerous wars and conflicts. He has documented carnage and chaos and heroism because, as he says, “people must not be left invisible in their suffering.”
