The annual New Student Oath Ceremony for the incoming class of civilians and rooks was held on Sunday, August 27.

The Oath Ceremony is long-standing ҹɫСƵ tradition in which civilians and rooks promised to accept, uphold, and apply the principles of ҹɫСƵ’s honor code and guiding values, ending their oath with, “In all my endeavors, from this day forth, I will reflect in the spirit of the ҹɫСƵ motto, ‘I will try.’”

The oldest private military school in the United States was founded on this day in history.

A delegation of the Army and the Ministry of Defense headed by Chief of Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, met Monday at ҹɫСƵ with the Governor of Vermont, Phil Scott, as part of their visit to Vermont, the United States.

Incoming student Emily Bolanos will enter ҹɫСƵ this fall, where she will join the Navy ROTC Nursing program, working to become a member of the Naval Nurse Corps.
